Ashwini has 15+ years of experience altogether, both in India and in the US. Experience in India covers the areas of auditing, accounting and taxation throughout, including bank audits, corporate audits and non-profit organizations.

Her work experience in the US includes corporate taxes, payroll taxes and individual taxes which includes correspondence with IRS and State tax authorities on corporate cases. She has handled accounting and financial review of few start-up companies, that included cap tables and review of KPIs.

She holds membership as Associate Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has cleared her CPA exam from the California Board of Accountancy.

At vConstruct, Ashwini started with Finance and Accounting function, to help internalize the outsourced accounting, and applying best practices to align with the nature of business and standardizing the accounting controls.

She leads the business unit- Accounting Support for Projects (ASP); with a goal to help construction projects by providing support to project accounting tasks that could be catered through the India office of vConstruct. ASP is driven to be focused in accounting and para-accounting tasks carried out during the project life-cycle, helping standardize the workflows adapted by various projects; and apply the best practices learnt through hands-on experience from other projects.

When not at work she likes listening to music and reading, and she had been involved in Scouts and Guides association, Pune.
